Well run business with friendly staff
No problems with these guys, everything was straight forward, only had the car for a day, but i expect no issues as all preparation was spot on. Purchased a 2010 plate and it looked brand new. Friendly, relaxed and helpful, can't ask for more really.

4 yr old , 15k miles car initial enquiry with below asking price negotiated on phone prior to viewing and test drive.
Car as described upon viewing and sale agreed few days later. No issues with storing the car for a few weeks to allow me time to collect from Scotland.
All documents and servicing history present and correct on hand over. A pleasure to deal with and would happily recommend using them again

Well after leaving a positive review last week of the company I would now have nothing positive to say apart from Andy and Jason today. My father bought a car last week, I then looked at a car in the forecourt and was told we can do a double deal, however due to credit I thought I would never get the car. 3 days later I was passed and it was mine, no communication in between. Went to collect the car today with no deal what so ever, £4 fuel in the tank knowing where I lived and nothing knocked off paid full price. No refreshments offered until asked. Over £12,000 spent in 1 week and not enough care of fuel to get home ever after no discount, not a lot to ask!

OMC Hello Jade, we are extremely disappointed to hear that you are not satisfied with the lack of fuel in your car. We take customer satisfaction extremely seriously and will look in to your complaint.

I have to say we have worked very hard to get your finance placed and get the car ready for collection as promised and the car looked fantastic when it was collected. We had put 5 litres of fuel in before you collected the car as the fuel level was low but unfortunately that wasn't enough to get you home.

Easy..... like a Sunday morning
We found Oakwood on Autotrader when we were looking for a 'newish' Audi A4. They had plenty of stock all at various prices / colours and after visiting a couple of garages a bit more local to us earlier in the day and without any success we decided to drive upto Bury for a last look of the day. The car we had looked at online was in the showroom, exactly as described and looked as new. After speaking with Danny about the car and what trade in deal we could do we decided to purchase the car. This was gone 4pm on Saturday so we paid the deposit to secure the car and although we were eager to have the car as soon as possible, realisticaly it would only be ready the following week. We were kept upto date with progress on Monday and Tuesday and it was ready to collect on Wednesday afternoon. It was a smooth transaction and will recommend to anyone who is looking at purchasing a used car at a competative price.

Purchased a 2021 mk3 ford kuga st line edition from Oakwood at the back end of August 25. Presale: Andy the salesman got the car prepped for me at short notice and ensured the car had 2 x new tyres, break disc replacement and a service prior to me collecting. Excellent communication throughout and above and beyond to get the car ready for me to collect. Aftersales: i noticed a coolant leak within the first week of purchasing the vehicle, i got in touch with Megan in the service department who was very helpful with helping resolving the issue. The car was still under warranty and Megan made getting the repairs completed in a timely manner easy and stress free. Thank you Andy and Megan Overall pre-sale and after sales excellent. Thanks guys love the new car!

I've recently had an issue where my warranty was voided by RAMP because I hadn't adhered to the small print where it told me about going over the mileage allowed. I spoke with Megan at Oakwood about it and she has reinstated my warranty and contributed towards the cost of my repair. Megan has gone above and beyond and I have no hesitation in using them again to purchase my next car when the time comes.

Overall it's been a positive experience. I'm very happy with the car and customer service has been good. My only reason for not giving a five star review is that I've had to chase for paperwork and some details weren't transparent and information given has been incorrect. We purchased our first EV using the Energy Trust Scotland Grant and decided on an MG Trophy. After a lot of searching we came across Oakwood and from our initial contact the whole process went smoothly. Every member of the team were helpful and as the grant process can take a few weeks they were very patient. We travelled down from Glasgow to Bury and were very happy with our purchase. Special mention to Jack who very artistically drew a Saltire for us 😄 Happy to recommend this company especially if you are using the grant scheme.

So I purchased a car from Oakwood. Everything was fine - car was excellent, communications good, fair price, fair process and it came with 3 months warranty. A few days prior to the end of the warranty period the car developed a fault. I contacted Oakwood to see if they would cover the cost of repair. To be fair to them they agreed. I got the work done at my local independent garage and they refunded me the full amount of £350. All in all a very fair and honest outcome. I would trust these guys. Thank you Oakwood.
