Great Experience
I purchased a Tesla Model 3 Performance from Powerlease. I initially spoke to Brandon and arranged to view the car the next day. On arrival i was given a cup of coffee and the car was immediately made available to view. The car was in excellent condition overall with a couple of minor issues which were addressed before i collected the car. It was a pleasure dealing with Brandon there was no hard sell and he was open and honest about the condition of the car. I have owned the car for 1 month now and it has exceeded my expectations this has probably been the best car buying experience i have ever had and i would not hesitate to purchase my next car from Powerlease.

My initial enquiry was met by Tom who knew his stuff. I was looking for an everyday run-around and Power lease had a 21 plate BMW i3 in stock. The price was very competitive and I was happy to pay a deposit. Tom kept me updated throughout the preparation process whilst the vehicle was serviced and an MOT carried out. The handover was extremely pleasant without insurances being pushed, which has been my experience in the past with manufacturers dealers.

Power lease really know the EV market and I am would not hesitate to return for my next purchase

Worst customer service
They were not truthful was a bad experience. They did not even have enough time to transfer logbook after sell car. I called 3 times if they submitted the transfer but no they did not have time to help or speak. After 10 days of waiting finally admitted they been lining and submitted. I had to top up 1k to get meet my time frame but no they did not get done!! I lost 2.5k by the process. Be mindfully

Remote buy of Jaguar I-Pace
Spotted the car on a Sunday browse on auto trader and visited the website for more details. Online holding deposit was put down and was called within 15 minutes by Oliver from the sales team who talked me through the process, viewing options and remote sales process.
Arranged for delivery a week later and today received the car today within the hour slot informed with a call 10 minutes before ETA by James who drove it down from Bedfordshire. Worked through all the final paperwork with me and talked through key features of the car as we did a quick loop to the station.
Great website, great service and a great team when the time comes for the next car I’ll be back.

The way car buying should be.
We bought a Tesla Model 3 with Tom last week and are thrilled with our experience.

It’s our first Electric car and Tom was extremely knowledgeable, professional and answered all our questions with a friendly ease and no sales tactics. The car we had an interest in wasn’t due to be delivered to site but we imagine Tom knew it was the best fitting option and made sure it was ready for us to see come our appointment. It was the one and we bought it same day.

On collection day we met Cameron, another brilliant member of the team who completed our paperwork with efficiency and care. He couldn’t have done more to make sure we were happy and confident with every detail before releasing the car to us.

After our experience we would definitely recommend Powerlease to our friends and family.

Excellent, you won't find better.
I visited several dealers prior to finding these guys.
Met Brandon who showed me the vehicle I was interested in, nice friendly no pressure service.
The car was presented in great condition except for a couple of stone chips, these were repaired prior to my collection.
The next day I discovered the tyre compressor and sealant were missing. One quick call and they sent me a brand new kit, no hassle or hesitation.
I would certainly recommend Powerlease to anyone and will return when it is time for me to change my car.
Well done guys, after 50 years of motoring you are without doubt the best.

Great Service and a great deal
There have been some bad reviews of Powerlease and we were sceptical about buying from them, however the offer on our little Fiat 500E was too good to refuse. Tom G our sales person was excellent , very knowledgeable and helpful kept us updated and resolved any query we had. When we purchased the car the plastic cover for the door key was missing , this was duly ordered and sent to us. Katie was also very helpful. I am glad we used our own judgement and looked for ourselves. I would more than happy to buy from Tom again

Great range, good prices BUT listen closely
Powerlease have a good range of well spec’d at fair prices, and indeed I’ve bought from them before.

However, listen very carefully to the sales patter. I chose an MGZS and asked during the sales process what the Manufacturer warranty was - It’s 5 years on these models was the answer - great peace of mind I thought. I liked the car and paid the deposit by phone late that afternoon. Whilst researching that night, I found that MG void the warranty if the car isn’t serviced every 12 months. You’ve guessed it, this 18 month old car hadn’t been serviced. As I get bored and sell my cars after two years that was no good for me.

So I asked to cancel the deal the following day. Sure no problem, but your deposit is non refundable. The sales manager then “reluctantly” agreed the deposit could be transferred to another car but only for a month or two, maybe three. All in line with their published business practices.

So listen carefully and do all of your due diligence before handing over any money.

Nive Car - Excellent Customer Service
Had a good experience buying my new vehicle. I was looked after by Laura who was easy to get on with, was professional, courteous and knowledgable.
Not the greatest part ex price but the overall deal was acceptable and the vehicle so far is just as I would expect it to be.
Powerlease has a large stock and a good variety of vehicles to choose from.
I would buy from them again.

Very bad experience
The worst experience I’ve had from purchasing a vehicle, waited over ten days for the car to be ready, finally when we got it, drivers front lower arm was knocking its ass off, no paperwork, cracked rear lense, front discs were shot to pieces, was told it had been serviced after a week of owning it, check oil light came up and filters had been changed nothing. Very very unsatisfied by the time we wanted to give the car back the cooling of period was over, after weeks of back and forth they finally fixed the suspension after I had to jack the car up myself to show their mechanics was the problem as they told me basically I was talking crap and there was nothing wrong with it. All a bunch of young guys running around the place no clue about cars just want to make sales and get cars out the door quick as possible. Cowboy of a place that’s for sure will never deal with them again. Wouldn’t cover our costs of fuel to go there as we live over an hour away and had to go back there when it wasn’t our fault, no sign of an apology nothing. Crap customer service absolutely shocking service.

Never buy from Powerlease they rip you off and try palm you off soon as they can. Enough said

Pleasant experience
I dealt with Tom, who is by far the easiest sales guy to go about with. He is not intrusive as my previous experiences were. The car I bought was missing a key and Tom had it sent over special delivery in two days. This review is actually a 4.9 star!
The one point was the paperwork which took some 2 hours to sort out. But hey, the rest was great and there is always something. It's to soon to comment on vehicle but the experience was great and coffee perfectly drinkable 😂

Superb from start to finish.
Saw a car I fancied on AutoTrader online. Called Powerlease on the Sunday and went to view the following day. The whole experience from start to finish was seamless, professional and friendly. The car I was interested in ( a Jaguar XF) was better than described and I drove it away the following day. To be honest the car sold itself and at the more than fair price it was on sale for. The offered warranty turned out to also be a no brainer. I won't hesitate to buy my next one from Powerlease and would like to extend my sincere thanks to Jack and the team, top job.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE
Awful company, all they care about is taking your money. The turbo on my car went TWICE in 7 months and they are refusing to pay me back. They said they fixed the turbo in the warranty stage but then it blew again 6 months later. The fire and police were called due to the state of the car and they had to put water on the bonnet to stop the smoking. I had the car 11 months and lost all my money.

Disappointing
The BMW was the one I wanted and they agreed to deliver it for a charge, fair enough. When it was delivered the petrol gauge showed empty and there was only one key. I called powerlease and complained that there wasn't enough fuel in the car to drive to the nearest petrol station and was told that they had put in one gallon and no they wouldn't provide me with a second key. Not policy. When it comes time to change the car I won't choose them.

Duped female buyer- DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!
I bought a Jaguar F Pace in December 2020. Now I know nothing about cars and am very trusting which is probably where I went wrong here. Sold a car with FULL service history now to find out whilst looking to trade it in it in fact has basically none apart from the very first one in 2017 and then nothing until just before I bought it and that was just an oil and filter change! The rear discs where basically non existent also but i swallowed that and just got them changed at the time. When I went in to discuss it the “sales director” said it was my word against theirs abs they do sell cars with not a full service history. I even asked for the service book at the time of buying and they said it’s now all electronic but here’s the print out with a. Piece of paper saying service print out at the top and an array of things done from 2017-2019. His worlds to me were”you should have checked it throughly”. Now I have no idea what any of it means and should they not be trustworthy enough! So now I’ve lost a good £2,500 off of the value of the car! He said they could buy it back at price they felt was right. I said I would be leaving a poor review and he said he isn’t looking at the car then which in all honesty is probably the better option for me. I was polite and courteous the whole time and he did not care one bit. Basically implying it’s my own fault. Also a log book was never received for the car and I had to call them several times and then actually go in for the same man to hand me a form and tell me to send it off! They didn’t even do that right! Would not recommend whats so ever and be very careful before you part with your hard earned cash!!

If you want a wide range of vehicles from which to choose, hassle free distance buying with no heavy sales techniques then Powerlease is the place to go.
I recently bought a Citroen Dispatch mark 3 online and Thomas at Powerlease was able to answer all my questions, provide photos and provide the reassurances required with large distance purchase and unlike salesman of the past no heavy sales techniques and always happy to help.
When I came to pick up the van I was not disappointed, they had even fitted a new windscreen for me.

Worse company I have ever dealed with. Advertised a car, got paid the finance then never released the car because there was so much wrong with it. I’ve lost money from tax, insurance, and finance for a car I’ve never driven. AVOID THESE CLOWNS my solicitor will be in touch
