Awful
Bought a car from Stanways. Ad said it was fully serviced, but sign came up straight away on dashboard saying it needed a service. Part was missing and they promised to send it on but took several months after several emails and calls. Back door did not work shortly after buying. Air con/heating did not work when bought, which has cost us £1800. Emailed several times to ask about the service but no reply. Do not buy from them!

Lovely service from start to finish
After some bad experience in the past at other car dealership. I was quite nervous about buying my next car. I saw a beautiful vehicle as I was driving home from work and stopped to look. The sales manager came out. Was very helpful with no hard selling. Took me straight for a test drive and got a price for a part exchange in my car. Fasted car ive ever bought and no messing about. The dealership was very professional and friendly. On collecting my car a few days later, the car was ready as was all the paperwork. I'm very happy with my new car and would buy from these again. Thank you so much

Inhumane customer service
If you want to waste your money and make a mechanic garage your home, take a risk of buying from Stanways of Lytham.

Stanways deliberately sold me a car that they know it was in terrible condition. I returned the car back to them 4x in 4weeks.

Eventually I demanded for a refund, they shouted at me, hung phone on me several times before my Money was refunded and I lost £400 + £300 warranty that they refused to refund.

If you want peace, stay away from them.

The worst experience of my life and may well still be on going if there is still oil underneath my car at the end of the week
The worst experience of my life due to pay my first finance payment tomorrow and have only had the car 9 days since I picked it up out of 21 days bad tyre and oil leek will run round in it for a week and see if it is still leaking custermer service next to none they won't listen and are very undermining

Came for one Volvo but bought the other one!
Traveled up from the Birmingham area to view one XC90 and were pleasantly surprised that there was a choice of two.
Both vehicles in excellent condition and both drove equally well.
We took the one with the lower milage.
Phil helped with the purchase choice perfectly. He knew when to stand back and give us space to decide and he knew when we needed some help.
Exactly what you want from sales staff- proffessionalism and customer understanding.
We had reason to call a few days after the sale to sort out some small items. They were all dealt with correctly.
